D’ Family Yard – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to D’ Family Yard. By booking, accessing, visiting, or using our venue and related services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Booking Confirmation

Bookings are only considered confirmed after:

• A completed booking request or agreement form has been submitted
• The required deposit or payment has been received
• Written confirmation has been issued by D’ Family Yard

D’ Family Yard reserves the right to decline or cancel any booking request at its discretion.

2. Payments

• A deposit may be required to reserve and secure a booking date.
• Remaining balances must be paid according to the agreed payment schedule before the event date.
• Additional services, facilities, rentals, or add-ons requested after booking may result in additional charges.
• Failure to complete payments by the required deadlines may result in cancellation of the reservation.

3. Deposits, Date Changes & Cancellations

• Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Event date changes are subject to availability.
• Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.
• Refund eligibility for payments beyond deposits may depend on cancellation timing and expenses already incurred.
• Approved refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 7–14 business days.

4. Venue Access & Event Hours

• Venue access will only be provided during the agreed booking period.
• Setup and breakdown times form part of the booked reservation unless otherwise arranged.
• Events exceeding the agreed booking period may incur additional charges.
• Clients and guests must vacate the premises at the agreed end time.

5. Guest Capacity

• All events must remain within the approved guest capacity established by D’ Family Yard.
• Exceeding guest limits without prior approval may result in additional fees or interruption of the event.

6. Venue Use

Clients and guests agree to:

• Use the venue responsibly
• Respect the property and natural surroundings
• Follow instructions provided by venue management
• Keep activities within the approved event purpose

The following are prohibited unless approved:

• Illegal activity
• Dangerous or hazardous behavior
• Damage to landscaping or property
• Excessive disturbances
• Activities that may negatively impact guests or surrounding areas

D’ Family Yard reserves the right to stop activities that create safety concerns or violate these terms.

7. Decorations & Installations

Decorations and installations are permitted provided they:

• Do not damage structures, landscaping, furniture, or property
• Are removed after the event
• Follow venue instructions and restrictions

Any damages resulting from decorations, installations, setup activities, or removal will be charged to the client.

8. Property Damage & Liability

The booking client accepts responsibility for damages caused by:

• Guests
• Vendors
• Contractors
• Event staff associated with the event

Repair, replacement, or restoration costs resulting from damages may be charged accordingly.

9. Safety & Security

D’ Family Yard aims to provide a secure and comfortable environment for all guests.

However:

• Guests attend and use the venue at their own risk
• Personal belongings remain the responsibility of owners
• D’ Family Yard is not responsible for lost, stolen, or unattended items
• Additional security services may be required for larger events

10. Children Supervision

Children must remain under adult supervision at all times while on the premises.

D’ Family Yard assumes no responsibility for incidents involving unsupervised children.

11. Music & Noise Policy

• Music and entertainment must remain within acceptable sound levels.
• Clients must comply with agreed event hours and applicable regulations.
• D’ Family Yard reserves the right to request reduction of excessive noise levels.

12. Alcohol Policy

• Alcohol service or consumption may require prior approval.
• Clients and guests are expected to comply with all applicable laws and responsible consumption practices.
• D’ Family Yard reserves the right to discontinue alcohol-related activities if safety concerns arise.

13. Facilities, Add-Ons & Rentals

Venue additions including but not limited to:

• Tents
• Cocktail tables
• Chairs
• Lighting
• Event equipment
• Additional facilities

may be subject to separate pricing, availability, and conditions.

D’ Family Yard does not guarantee availability of add-ons unless specifically confirmed.

14. Cleaning Responsibilities

Basic post-event cleanup may be included where agreed.

Additional cleaning charges may apply for:

• Excessive waste
• Property misuse
• Damage
• Removal of decorations or materials left behind

Clients are expected to leave the venue in a reasonable condition.

15. Parking & Vehicles

• Vehicles must only be parked in designated areas.
• D’ Family Yard is not responsible for theft, damage, or loss involving vehicles or their contents.

16. Vendors & Third Parties

External vendors may require prior approval before operating at the venue.

D’ Family Yard is not responsible for:

• Third-party services
• Delays
• Products
• Vendor actions or performance

17. Weather & Outdoor Conditions

As an outdoor venue, weather conditions may affect events.

D’ Family Yard is not responsible for disruptions caused by:

• Rain
• Wind
• Severe weather
• Natural events
• Utility interruptions
• Circumstances outside reasonable control

Clients are encouraged to arrange weather protection options where necessary.

18. Force Majeure

D’ Family Yard shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, interruptions, or inability to provide services due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including:

• Natural disasters
• Government restrictions
• Emergencies
• Utility failures
• Severe weather conditions
• Public safety events

19. Photography & Media

Photographs or videos taken during events may be used by D’ Family Yard for marketing and promotional purposes unless written notice requesting exclusion is submitted before the event date.

20. Indemnification

The client agrees to assume responsibility for claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from activities associated with their event, except where directly caused by negligence on the part of D’ Family Yard.

21. Right to Refuse Service

D’ Family Yard reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or discontinue services where:

• These terms are violated
• Unsafe behavior occurs
• Property is endangered
• Activities become disruptive
• Illegal conduct takes place

22. Agreement

By submitting a booking request, making payment, or accessing the venue, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
